I am not a photographer, I am an interpretographer. I re-work the real, uncovering a hidden universe. For me, images are like phrases or words. My aesthetics play on and with the image. The act of layering and reassembling is an essential part of my process and is like writing with images. Sometimes prose-like, sometimes poetic. But before that I am a hunter-gatherer of imagery, selecting and searching materials, obiects and images from a range of sources, whether second hand stores, a field, a wall, a beautiful model, or that forest of signs that is our urban reality. In conclusion..... I hunt, I shoot, I reinterpret ...on a phone with plenty of smarts.
